Gaby did both my bump and newborn photos. I am rather reluctant having my photo taken, preferring to be behind the lens than in front, but Gaby made us feel comfortable.

Actually, the whole afternoon was fun. She was laid back but professional. Had great suggestions but accommodated anything and everything I wanted. "Gaby provided us with amazing support as doula before, during and after the birth of our son Archie, our first. Thank you Gaby!!!

Her amazing support and accompaniment started well before we got to hospital. We met so she could understand our birth preferences and she suggested options for postnatal recovery and setting up our baby's room. She also visited me in hospital when induction started, which helped me stay calm and my husband get the last things organised.

Gaby was also my prenatal yoga teacher, so when active labour started she reminded me of my yoga breathing and Hypnobirthing techniques. Her skills and experience as a yoga teacher matches perfectly with the role of a doula, as she assisted me with positions to make labouring and breathing more comfortable and preserve the environment I wanted. Having her as doula was also a huge support for my husband, at times she could help me with what I needed, so he could talk with midwives, get food, or nap. And then when Archie came into this world and we met him, Gaby captured those moments beautifully!!!

Gaby then visited several times once we got back home to focus on my recovery from birth: with nourishing meals, herbal treatments... and to show us the photos!
